Here comes the better months here in wilderness Scotland . This time we decided to have a go at the perch . Those stripey fish are predators amongst the smaller pray . We certainly did not need much tackle . A box of colourful little rubber shad , some weighted jig head and we went . It was a glass start on the loch without a breath of wind . Sooner than later we found the shoal of fish eventually catching the bigger one . The light approach and finesse was irresistible . Drifting along the rocky woody shores I even managed a little brown trout on the fly . The mission was accomplished , 1 , great scenery , 2 great company and 3 some memorable small catch . The perchinators .
