This week we made it to Portavadie , little hamlet situated on the shore of loch Fyne . It was an interesting adventure since one of the gang forgot his paddle . An old drift wood plank 3 foot long was enough to start our journey with a smile . To make the odyssey more pleasurable I soon became the tug kayak towing my very good friend , and so we went .

Harvesting some mackerel was first on our list . We explored the little island and then drifted on the calm sea . Focusing at catching different species we all did well . Dogfish , whiting, cod, saithe , dab , mackerel and even haddock , the selection was encouraging .

During the day , fyne seadog , the local charter boat alias Paul hooked a monster , A 14lb cod .

We paddled and fished inundated  by welcoming sunshine and topped up our tan . You cannot beat Scotland on a good day .
