It is not the first time I have invited some friend on the spare kayak , this latest trip was highly successful . Rob , latest group member was having difficulties with his new purchase , so we decided to share this trip together .Transportation was great , the new van now unable me to carry 2 kayaks side by side with little stress , with plenty space in the back to simply store our fishing , kayaking equipments  . Loch Lomond was once again stunning , having the loch to ourselves .Tam joined us on this trip too and it was good to catch up with him once again .The weather was typically Scottish , breezy , sunshine and rain . Trying to catch a fish was our challenge . I opted for the soft lure tactics  , the spikey shad from Fox fished deep , and once again it proved best . I opened the scoring with a little feisty pike , end of April and the fish have started to bite again .We paddled around the island , keeping warm and enjoying the scene . Fish number two came to the surface , a little bigger than the first one , success  . My friends eyes were rolling by that time , we carried on our paddle stopping for a bit to eat on a secluded island .Tam left us a bit early having to work that night , Rob and I pursued our hunt .With no much time to play for  , Rob eventually hooked into a fish .The slippery creature was not having his picture taken ,and once the hook removed he smartly dive back to the depth .We enjoyed this trip thoroughly , experience in this field proved to be invaluable , spring fishing in scenic Scotland rocks ! Till next adventure .Tight lines all .
